  Perhaps you have heard that the big news from Zenimax Online and Bethesda that ESO which has been out since April of 2014 is changing it's subscription model and is now talking more about the console versions which have been delayed for a time. Perhaps you heard it from me.  It is NOT becoming a Free-To-Play game, it is now a Buy-To-Play. You must have a copy of the game before you are permitted to access the game with our without a new ESO Pro subscription. Skyrim wasn't Free-To-Play simply because you didn't pay monthly for it. Neither are most console or PC games you buy and play. Only difference is this is an MMO.

  I also don't believe that ESO:TU is doing this out of desperation. And if they are, they are doing and excellent job of addressing it. It is also NOT featuring a Pay-To-Win model. Everything introduced into the new Crown store is cosmetics and customization. The consumables they are selling (potions, soul gems, and repair kits) are of equal and lower quality than you can find at merchants or in the world from simply playing. The best gear and the best things are ALL acquired through playing as your normally would in the game right now.

  ESO announced that it would finally be coming to consoles on June 9th and it will be on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the same model and the same great game. Notice though, the consoles both require a subscription to either Xbox Live or PlayStation Plus for all online content, not just ESO. It is also separated by a server from the other console and PC version, so PS4's only play with PS4 and Xbox One's only with Xbox One, PC with PC. 

  And ESO Pro is the new subscription model they are introducing after March 17th where you gain additional content. As before mentioned, the subscription is not required, and if you currently have a ESO subscription it will roll into the new system and you will have bonuses for being a loyal member to the community! Crowns are the new currency in addition to gold and is for YOU only to buy nice things from the Crown Store. It is not trade-able for coins or other players and can be used to get things including but not limited to:

• Costumes: Blacksmith, Chef, Wedding Dress, Rouges and Knights Pack, Jester, Etc.
• Pets: Alik'r Dune-Hound, Stripped Senche-Panther, Striated Pony Guar, Etc.
• Mounts: Banded Guar Charger, Dapple Gray Palefray, White Mane Horse, Etc. (All the same stats as coin-bought mounts)
• And more to come and be announced from the store
